I <3 This Weekend

I had a BLAST today. I spent the day with Dennis & Digi out at his parents house. It took me a minute to find the house and I did spend some time at the neighbors house (because the neighbors house has the same address and no street signs). It didn't help things that I hadn't meet Dennis' parents before. hehe Oh well, the neighbor said that it happens all the time. The really should think about putting up street signs.

Anyways, I went out there to try on my bridesmaid dress. It's beautiful. Digi's dress is sooooo beautiful too. Dennis designed it! I have a LOT of cleavage in the dress, so I'm really digging it. :) The wedding is Friday and I am so excited for them. Digi is really awesome. She is as funny and nice as she is beautiful. Today is the first time I've met her, but it feels like I've known her forEVER.

Cailin & I hung out for a while and had dinner (it was delish). I had eggplant for the first time and I liked it!! We (as a family) decided to give up meat for August, so we've all been trying tons of new veggies. I am really digging the veggie burgers. The flame grilled ones are the fricking best.

After I got home, Tom, the girls and I headed over to the Dearborn Homecoming and we watched the fireworks. As always, they were really good. Dearborn always does a killer firework show. We could hear the music from our house.

Yesterday, the girls and I picked up the new Stephanie Meyer book that they've been waiting for. 700+ pages of vampire love. I can't believe they are so into it. They haven't lifted their heads out of it since they started reading it. Later that evening, Tom and I spent the evening at Greektown Casino. Darkcube and 270 were the ballers, I only spent $7 on the 2 cent slots. Amanda was supposed to go with me - but she never called back. Getting out of the casino parking was a nightmare. It took over 1 hour 15 minutes for Becky to get out. I was going to go home with her so the guys could hang, but ended up going back to the Casino to help Bill and Tom load up the car. We went over to Corktown for the last hour of the evening. It was pretty dead inside, but the patio was kicking ass. Christos is a killer DJ and I really enjoyed his set.

That's my weekend in a nutshell. :)
